My parents were in Palm Springs for a few weeks living their well-deserved retirement life… I visited and did a trial run. Retirement suits me well.A few more 📷First camping trip of 2023 was a good one.Another lap around the sun… another ride on the carousel. What a wonderful adventure it’s been… and here’s to many more. 🍻Meet Dugan… he’s an amalgamation of Nick from New Girl, Spicoli from Fast Times, and a sprinkle of Charlie from Always Sunny.Vibe check ✅There’s a lot of quotes out there about life and nature, so rather than paraphrase Bourdain or Muir… I’ll paraphrase the reset button…Went on a Disney Bender... 🎢Albert Pujols hit his first home run in April of 2001. 21 years later, he hit his 700th. We’ve grown up with this guy - and to see him back where he belongs - in a Cardinals uniform - making history…. It was nothing short of memory that will last forever. What an experience to see it live and celebrate with 56,000 people in the stands. All cheering together, clapping, hugging, high fiving…A different point of view 🌊On my way back from Solvang I stopped a couple times to take pictures and walk around. Found some great beach views as well as a ‘tar field’ - 1 of only 5 in the world - a beachside cliff where tar seeps out from the ground and has been for hundreds of years. Some crazy history on it and pretty amazing to witness - picture 4 bottom left you can see the oil/tar leaking from the rocks onto the sand. Earth is wild…Green is my favorite color. 🌳Follow Locals Only on Twitter
