You’ll need: 2 Cups of leftover Mac N’ Cheese (I used Kraft from the night before, but you could also make some fresh and then just throw it in the freezer or fridge until it hardens)
1 Cup of Shredded Cheese
1-2 Cups of Goldfish Crackers
2 Eggs
1-2 Cups of Flour
1 Cup of Italian Breadcrumbs
(Marinara for dipping, more Parmesan for topping)

1) Take cold Mac and mix in some Shredded Cheese
2) Roll into Balls and make sure they’re pretty solid
3) Place on oiled baking pan and then throw them in the freezer for 2 hours
5) Crush Goldfish and Mix in with Italian Bread Crumbs and place in a bowl
6) Mix 2 Eggs in a second bowl
7) Pour flour into a third Bowl
8) Once you take the Mac N Cheese balls out of the freezer, preheat the oven to 425 degrees
9) Take 1 Mac Ball and dip in egg wash, then flour, then egg wash, then goldfish/bread crumb mixture, place back on oiled baking pan
10) Place the Mac Balls in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes

Enjoy with a side dipping sauce (Marinara) and top with some grated Parmesan.

Flaming Hot Cheeto Onion Rings Wrapped in Bacon

How to make Bacon Wrapped Flaming Hot Cheeto Onion Rings! – Locals Only Recipe Video

This recipe takes the Onion Ring game to a whole new level. And just think of the possibilities with the variety of chips (BBQ, Sour Cream and Onion etc.) you could use PLUS I used the coating on some chicken and it turned out excellent. Also wrapped it in bacon of course.

If you like it – please subscribe for more content!

You’ll need: 1 Sweet Onion, 1 Bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos, 2-3 Cups of Flour, 3 Eggs, 1 package of Bacon (Alternatively you could make this ‘low fat’ and used Baked Cheetos and Turkey Bacon)

1) Dice Onion into Rings
2) Crush 1 Bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos (I put in a ziplock and stepped on them… you want them to be really fine)
3) Crack and Stir 3 Eggs
5) Pour 2-3 Cups of Flour into a Bowl
6) Preheat oven to 425 degrees
7) Take Onion, dip in egg, then flour, then egg again, then cheetos and lay on a greased baking sheet
8) Let mixture harden for a minute or two, then wrap in Bacon (I cut my bacon into thin strips but either way can work)
9) Bake rings for 25 minutes
10) Heat up a side of Queso for dipping and enjoy!

5 Easy Exercises to Do At Home

I eat a lot.  I drink a lot.  And I’m not talking about salads and coconut water.  If you have seen any of my Locals Only posts on social media than you know I am a glutton for all things unhealthy.  Is that Chicken…Can you add Bacon?  Is that a burger…Can you add cheese?  Beer…Bud Light was for beer pong in my parents basement.  So a questions I get asked a lot is, “Why are you not fat?”  And aside from my other gluttonous addiction to adventure which helps me stay in shape, it really is because I do these 5 simple routines every other day.  I don’t know a ton about nutrition or vitamins and I am not a fitness professional… but these 5 exercises have definitely helped me shed some pizza crust.  I’m not a thin crust, but at least I’m not a deep dish either.

So if you’re broke like me and can’t afford a $100/month gym or if you don’t have the time… try these simple things at home and see if it helps.  If not, go to a person who actually knows what they’re talking about.   Continue reading

10 Fun Things to do in L.A (That you might not have known about)

Los Angeles can be overwhelmingly huge.  I have lived here for 5 years and if I go anywhere outside my neighborhood you better believe I’m GPS’ing my way there.  With a city so big and traffic so bad, it can make exploring a little difficult.  A lot of times my friends will text me asking for something fun and unique to do around LA that isn’t on every BuzzFeed or Thrillist list out there, so I figured I would compile some ideas on Locals Only… since we’re just a little smaller than BuzzFeed.  In no particular order, here’s a list of 10 things I have done in and around LA that are worth checking out:

1.  Oak Tree Gun Club | 23121 Coltrane Ave, Newhall, CA 91321

This place brings me back to my Missouri roots. You don’t need any training or permits, you can simply show up and rent your gun and shoot some targets. They have an artillery of rentals as well but each genre (Handgun, Rifle, Shotgun) is a separate fee but the guns within that genre are interchangeable… so you can go from a glock to a 9mm to a Clint Eastwood style 6 shooter. They also have Clay and Skeet shooting which not to brag, but I am fucking amazing at. And the kicker, they also have an archery range! The whole place is outdoors so go on a sunny day and have a blast. Plus they have pretty good food for super cheap (and beer but only after you shoot).
